The Research Team

Robert graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc in Computer Science. After being diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma at 19, he built his career in FinTech at the London Stock Exchange Group, FlexTrade, and most recently Coinbase — leaving a senior role (and a >70% pay cut) to build Haem.io full-time.

Drawing on this technical background, Robert developed the initial concept for Haem.io's hybrid AI framework that combines AI-driven data extraction with a deterministic logic engine. He co-developed the platform with Dr. John Burthem and leads the project's software development, regulatory pathway, and research coordination.
